Emporio Artari is a charming Italian coffee spot inside the Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull.
Its cozy yet stylish ambiance evokes fond memories of the much-missed San Carlo, once a beloved fixture in the Selfridges area of the Bullring.
I’m very pleased to report that Artari’s espresso is delightful, and absolutely on point in flavour and strength.
Every possible box is checked: it may well be the best I’ve ever tried in the Birmingham area, rivaling the most delicious espressos from Italy.
If this were the Great British Bake Off and I were Paul Hollywood, Emporio Artari would definitely earn a vigorous handshake.
You’ll hardly find a better one.
UPDATE: According to Google (we haven’t been able to check personally yet), Emporio Artari has closed down for good as of autumn 2025.
