Whenever in doubt, Caffè Concerto is a safe and failproof pick.
The flavour tends towards the classic Italian espresso style, and as a nice bonus, their selection of pastries, cakes, and ice cream is quite good.
Located on the upper level of New Street Station, it’s more than just a spot to grab a quick coffee before boarding your train. The welcoming and well-curated style will make you want to lounge for a while.
UPDATE: Caffè Concerto in New Street Station closed down for good in Autumn 2025.
